Welcome to the 2012 SFSU Community Youth Summer Sailing and Kayaking Camp Registration

This on-line process allows you to find a scheduled and available youth sailing or kayaking camp date and make a reservation. All camps run Monday- Friday. Advanced payment is required to confirm a reservation. We can not guarantee a reservation without payment in full. You must complete a registration for each child. If registering for two or more half day camps you receive a 5% discount on all reservations. If there is space available on your requested date, your reservation payment will be processed and confirmation will be emailed to you. If space on your first choice is full, you will not be allowed to make a payment or confirm a reservation for that full date. There is no waitlist. Upon making a reservation we will send a checklist of what your child should wear and bring the first day, as well as camp rules. Refunds are not available within two weeks of the camp start date. Fees include instruction, boats, PFD and commemorative t-shirt. No snacks or lunch are provided, so participants must bring their own food . See schedule below for available camp dates.

Half Day Sailing Camp $135

Full Day Sailing and Science Camp $245

* Full Day 9:00am-4:00pm Ages 8-12

Half Day Kayaking and Lake Environment Camp $135

* Morning 9:00-12:00 Ages 8-15

* Afternoon 1:00-4:00 Ages 8-15

Full Day Camp By Combining 1/2 Day Sailing and 1/2 Day Kayaking Camps $256.50

* Full Day 9:00-4:00, Ages 8-15. To register for this full day combo camp select and register for an open half day sailing camp and an open half day kayak camp. This is needed to prevent over booking of any half day program

Gator Sports Camp Connection: Is your child also registered for the SFSU Gator Sports Camp (it has baseball and basketball, other activities)Ğ We do not operate or make reservations for the Gator Sports Camp, but children can register for our morning camps and they can be walked by one of our instructors over to the nearby Gator sports camp that takes place in the afternoon (if previously registered through Gator Sport Camp). If registered for Gator Sport Camp, please indicate this in the provided space below.

Please Note:

1. Full payment is required to make an individual reservation. For groups of 8 or more, a $100 deposit is required. Balance is due two weeks prior for groups of 8 or more.

2. All students should know how to swim 25 yards and on the first day of class they will be required to walk into the lake water in a life jacket so they are floating and swim along a dock. No refund if child refuses to take swim/float test. We accommodate youth with disabilities. Affordable swim instruction can be arranged by your local YMCA or through a neighborhood SF Recreation and Parks Department pool.

3. All cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to scheduled session, after the date is confirmed by our office, or payments will be forfeited.

4. Minimum of 8 registrants required to operate any camp and a maximum of 14 students per sailing class (24 per kayaking class). If there are not at least eight registered campers 5-7 days before the camp start date, we will contact you and discuss finding additional campers and alternative open camp dates and times. We will offer to switch you to an open date, or provide a full refund of any payment.

5. Please print, sign and bring the Medical and Liability forms with you on the first day of class. All forms MUST be received before students are able to participate in camps!

6. Registration is NOT complete until payment has been processed.

Tawas Bay Yacht Club, J/22 Fleet 44 and the International J/22 Class Association cordially invite you to attend the
2012 J/22 North American Championship September 9-12, 2012. Nine races are scheduled. Three races a day are scheduled with a maximum of four if necessary . Four (4) races will constitute a regatta.

ONSITE Registration Fee US $310.00. Onsite registration will Open Wednesday October 31st at 4:00pm until November 1st, 2012 before first event briefing. All registrations payments as well as charter payments must be completed before first event briefing.

NOTE: In order to receive the stated fees above you need to complete the payments on the date you register. Example: If you register a competitor, on or before the “early bird special” but you do not complete the payment until after the January 31st deadline for that fee, you WILL BE paying the next fee wich is more.

PAYMENT: The entry fee & charter boat hire fees per competitor must be paid in full at the ONLINE REGISTRATION in order for registration to be VALID. No competitor will be able to participate in the event without payment of the entry and charter fee at time of registration.

CHARTER BOATS

IMPORTANT- as of February 28, the 68 boats for charter for international fleets has been SOLD OUT! All new registrations will be on WAITING LIST...

The first 68 International competitors coming from Europe/Asia/South America/Caribbean have been assigned. MUST PAY CHARTER in full at by april 31st.
Since all charter allocations have been assigned on a first come first serve basis to international racers, unfortunately there is NO charter availability nor waiting list for North American or Canadian racers at this point or until further notice.

NO entries or charter boat hires will be confirmed without:

The appropriate ONLINE payment.
Proof of valid Sailing Licence / Membership Card from your National Sailing Federation or ISAF number. This could be onsite before event.
Valid 3^rd Party Liability Insurance. This could be onsite before event.

IMPORTANT: All Charter boat administration and responsibility/liability falls solely an exclusively on Bic Sports North America. Charters must be paid and therefore reserved during the registration process. All information will be forwarded to Bic Sports North America.

Onsite charters are subject to availability. Event registration with/out charter fee payment will NOT guarantee availability.
